How does it cool without gel or water? +
Pressure-activated cooling fabric — body weight + warmth triggers the cooling effect. No charging or soaking. Effectiveness varies by ambient temp; most pups feel a noticeable difference in hot weather.
What size for my dog? +
Currently L (40–70 lb) and XL (70+ lb) are in stock. If your dog is smaller, email hello@avocadog.store — we can ask the supplier about restocking S/M.
Can I machine wash it? +
Per supplier: no. Wipe with damp cloth for cleaning, mild soap for stains. Machine wash damages the cooling layer.
How long does the cooling last per session? +
Effect varies based on ambient temp and how warm the pup is when they lie down. Cooling mats generally need short rest periods between sessions to refresh — pup gets up, mat resets in 15–20 min.
Is the material safe if my pup chews? +
Designed to lie on, not chew. If you have a chewer, supervise. Per supplier: high-quality cooling fabric, but no specific chew-resistance claim.
