Will my dog actually use it? +
Most dogs take to a lick mat instantly with peanut butter or wet food. A small minority ignore it (especially picky eaters); try freezing with their favorite food. 30-day returns if it doesn't work.
Is the silicone safe? +
Per supplier listing: silicone. We don't have specific independent cert documentation (BPA-free, FDA, etc.) on file — if you need cert paperwork before ordering, email hello@avocadog.store first and we'll check with the supplier.
What size for my dog? +
Small (30×20 cm) — cats, Frenchies, Yorkies, anything under ~25 lb. Large (43×28 cm) — bigger dogs that lick fast and would clear the small one too quickly. If unsure, get the large.
Can I put it in the dishwasher? +
Yes — top rack. Silicone is dishwasher-safe (won't melt). Hand-wash with mild soap also fine.
Is peanut butter safe for dogs? +
ONLY if it's xylitol-free. Xylitol (sugar substitute in some peanut butters and human snacks) is highly toxic to dogs. Read the label. Plain natural peanut butter without xylitol is fine in moderation.
