Multi-step puzzle
Sliding panels + hidden compartments + treat-dispensing reveals. Combines mechanisms so smart breeds can't brute-force it in one sitting.
Reusable
Pre-load with treats, refill each session. Lasts months, not minutes.
Tires the brain
30 minutes of mental work tires high-energy breeds faster than a 1-hour walk. Replaces destructive chewing with a real task.
Three steps.Brain wins.
Pre-load with treats
Hide kibble or training rewards in the compartments. Make sure your pup sees you doing it the first time.
Hand it over
Pup slides panels, presses tabs, figures out how to get the treats. You watch. Most catch on within 10 minutes.
Refill + repeat
Reset the puzzle. Mix up which compartments get treats so they have to re-explore each time.
Real pups,
real reviews.
Real worries. Real answers.
What size dog is this for? +
Designed for medium to large dogs (15-50+ lb). Tiny dogs / cats may struggle with the panel mechanics. If unsure, see our other puzzle products with simpler mechanisms.
My dog isn't food-motivated. Will it work? +
Likely not — these puzzles are food-driven. If your pup ignores treats, this isn't the right product. We've not tested with non-food rewards.
How does it compare to your other puzzle bowls? +
This is the most complex puzzle in our catalog — multi-step. The Slow-Eat Roulette Feeder is a simpler single-mechanism puzzle (better for first-time puzzle dogs). Pick by your pup's experience level.
Is the plastic safe? +
Per supplier: plastic. We don't have specific cert documentation — if you need BPA-free or food-grade cert paperwork, email hello@avocadog.store before ordering.
Can my dog destroy it? +
Most heavy chewers can damage soft puzzle plastic. Best for dogs that nose/paw rather than chew. If your pup chews everything, supervise the first few sessions and remove if they start gnawing.
